Didn't someone say a while back somewhere else, that those fuzzy caterpillars that have brown and black stripes can supposedly predict the winter? Well, I have seen lots of them lately and they are half and half - almost exactly.... hmmmm? What does that mean? Also... the spiders this year are so HUGE...eeek! They look like tarantulas. I have never seen them this big in our neck of the country!

The Wooly Bears here are black on both ends and brown in the middle this year. Last year I saw several white ones and boy did they predict things correctly!
