Nipple warmers optional, but highly recomended. -18 on the therm. Must be near 30 below with wind. You know its cold when you trip on chicken poop. Down to 4 buff orpington hens and one rabbit named Jerry. I let him loose in the fence, his cage open. He carried hay under the small animal building to make himself a bed. Ever see a rabbit herd chickens? I toss down some bread, he drives off the hens. Funny as hell to watch. I see there are lurkers here. Post, dambit.

Why you being so mean to me? Lololol. For instance.... Normally our woodstove can make it 90 in here, with ease. Cant get it above 70. And its freighted and WFO. Supposed to be upper 30's maybe on monday or tuesday. Oh, goodie, a heatwave. Lolololol

We're gonna start seeds here probably this week, so we can plant in March... It's been a warm winter so far with only one real cold spell so I'm expecting a warm sping and a hot summer.

Weather has been miserable here, snow cover since Christmas Eve with only a 2 day reprieve since. It has been real cold, damp and dreary. At least in NH, when you were freezing your ass off with minus degree temps, you still had the sun, I don't think we have one here anymore.

Today it's been rainy and it will get down to freezing, so there will be ice on the truck in the morning. I hate driving when it gets like this, because people think they have to drive 25 h on the freeway. Snow ice and cold weather, it's like they can't drive if it's not sunny and clear.l

Weird. 3 days ago, - 40 windchill. Today 42 and drizzling. Should I do the math for all you lurkers? 😜 Thats right, kids. 82 degree's difference. Single digits forecasted for tomorrow. I'd rather have some global warming. If only Al Bore would just STFU about it. My 14 yo has a "Glibal Issue's" class. I volunteered to go before her class and debate global warming. Havent heard back yet. LMAO

Ended up with rainy weather in the the 50's for a high. Wind slapped us from every direction within just a few hours. Gusts over 60mph. Snow all gone, so camp is no longer banked. 11 out now, -1 forecasted for tonite. Steady wind, gusts to 25mph. New England weather keeps you on your toes. I spent 2 hours yesterday fixing tire ruts in my muddy driveways. Ended up blocking them off with sawhorses and my truck. Not likei live on a busy road. Lol. Pahk in da rud, dammah. I started just a few bell peppers yesterday. 2 months early, but oh well. I have windows. Lololol

Oh, sold some year old cedar from down the woodlot. Guy comes up from the coast and grabs a pickup load. He makes nautical- themed stuff. Buoy's and whatnot. Helps him, helps me. God Bless America. Little cash dont hurt much, neither😁

Today we are starting seed, turning a compost pile, fixing a bed and maybe making a dump run. I sold a mini van that was broke down to a junk yard. The money will give me the money to build an open sided pole barn. I'll build sides on it as funds become available. The pole barn will only be 10 x 12, but it will let us store a small amount of hay and give a new milking area since we moved the goat pen close to the horse pen.
