24 oz. Canning jars? Sometimes, like with green beans for us, a pint isnt enough and quart is too much. If I were to buy sauce at the store, classico comes in a 24 oz. Atlas mason jar. I realize I'm compustupid, but it just seems that it would be a very popular size. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I am lucky to have 2 dozen of the 3/4 quart jars but I got them from my mom many years ago, they are widemouth and so easy to work with. Maybe I'll check mason on-line and see if they still make them, and they are a size that does make sense. I put fruit and veggies in that size too.

Rick, I ran into the same problem with beans, so we did buy a lot of Classico jars of sauce last year, and I saved all of those 24oz jars specifically for beans. It is a great size for that.
