For those of you who expressed interest at "another" forum and were so helpful with all your ideas and thoughts, I thought I'd let you know that We have all the rough in electrical done, paneling up, and half the ceiling up...
Son and son in law are comingin the morning to finish the louaun (spelling?) ceiling....
Next will be getting the ditch dug from the former barn building (which is now to be my little country store) for the electrical cable....and we've traded the use of our bucket truck to a plumber we know who will dig the ditch for free!!!!
I also was able to get a beautiful french style metal door for the new front door for $20!!!! (from a man whose done repairs for years and has a whole building full of goodies he's rescued from jobs he's done!
We still have to build the little porch as well...
Meanwhile I am sewing like crazy on Christmas aprons and flour sack dish towels, and making all sorts of goat milk soap, so when I get IN the new little store I'll have it stocked!
The current little store off my carport is still busy, mainly with folks coming in and out to buy "farm fresh eggs from happy chickens."
The main thing I'm trying to do is diversify....the more different type farm products I can sell, the better off I'll be,because if one thing is not selling well, maybe something else will! more later!

I admire your determination Suzy and it bodes well for your future success. I hope you are chronicling your journey with pictures. I have an idea that might create a story for our newspaper. It might also get you some internet business if that was ever your intention. And yes, show us your progress. psst. you can also plug your blog and web site here too....just saying...

My web site is www.suzysfarm.com but I don't have any of the "construction" photos on there yet....but will soon! Can we download photos directly from our computers to this forum or do they have to be in one of those photo buckets sites or something?

Photo bucket of some other hosting site is best. I use photobucket and have had zero problems with them. We have a direct attachment from your computer to the site, but the size files that are accepted are rather small.
