Took the camera for a walk this morning, after watering chores were complete.
This is one of those supposed rare Jack-in-the-Pulpits, they were like $40 a bulb, I waited till the end of the season and picked up three for $20 ea. Of the three, this is the only one that has kept coming back and just last year started blooming, pretty cool, but no way I would pay $60 for three plants of something that wasn't edible now.
This is beside the screeened porch, there is a pond in the center of this mass of tall flowers, it is usually only visible in late fall to early spring, you can always hear the waterfall and the frongs in there, just can not see it during summer.
The Goji Berry, and something I threw together last week to support it. Bamboo and wire ties make it possible to create lots of useful garden items.
The four blueberry bushes I planted last month, they are leafed out pretty good and more importantly sending up lots of new shoots from the base.
This is the Medlar tree that got totally defoliated and gnawed on by the rabbits last year, it came back good, weird shape, but we will address that starting next spring, I am just glad it made it.
Another view of my bamboo trellis thingy.
This is the beginning of the Bramble run, in the very foreground is one of the three Honeyberry bushes I have, then raspberries for 50 feet then black raspberries and blackberries for the next 50.
Speaking of blackberries...
And another kind of blackberries
The garden is starting to come on strong now, we are eating broccoli from it already.
This is a Yates Persimmon tree that I planted last year, it appears this one is going to have a great shape without pruning.
This is a Meader Persimmon also from last year, but as you can see, it will need to see my pruning shears in the future in order to have a good symetrical tree.
This is an Overlease Pawpaw in it's second season so still 3 years before we see any fruit.
