Wow ! After reading the short article on Natalina, I suspected there was much more that had not been said, so I went googling, and found this. Also very interesting, not only the winds but the water as well will bring us the "stuff". www.elcamino.edu/faculty/tnoyes/Readings/09AR.pdfA bit more about Natalina. We border on another whole topic now, the anti-nuke movement, which I won't go into here, but I suspect there is still much more to be learned from this dear lady. wecf.eu/cms/download/2006/Manzurova_genanet.pdf

I loved Natalina's message to Japan: "Run away as quickly as possible. Don't wait. Save yourself and don't rely on the government because the government lies."[/i]
Truer words were never spoken.

TOKYO -- A suspected breach in the reactor core at one unit of a stricken Fukushima nuclear plant could mean more serious radioactive contamination,Japanese officials said Friday, revealing what may prove a major setback in the mission to bring the leaking plant under control. The uncertain situation halted work at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear complex, where dozens had been working feverishly to stop the overheated plant from leaking dangerous radiation, officials said. The plant has leaked some low levels of radiation, but a breach could mean a much larger release of contaminants. Officials are also grappling with a humanitarian crisis, with much of the frigid northeast still a scene of despair and devastation as Japan struggles to feed and house hundreds of thousands of homeless survivors, clear away debris and bury the dead. www.aolnews.com/2011/03/25/dangerous-breach-suspected-at-japan-nuclear-plant/?icid=maing|main5|dl1|sec1_lnk2|51681

I've been a fan of hydro power my whole adult life. Water will always flow downhill! Nukes scare the shiite out of me, for very good reason.

Me too Rick-love the old water wheels back in the day-to the modern dams-hydro is where it's at-I am digging geo- thermal too- Did you notice the list on the news of the ten most dangerous nuclear plants in the country? Pilgrim was #2 on the list That's fantastic... Rick-Thanks for keeping up with all of this Japan stuff!

Sooo, it's snot a "half a world away" any more ? The link says it's even showing up in Pa. now. Wonder after drifting all the way across the country to Mass. and Pa. where does that leave all the states in between there and the west coast ? But I'm SURE our faithful mainstream media will hawk out the TRUTH and give us the real scoop in short order.......they will.......won't they ? And our patriotic government will take ALL the necessary measures and precautions to shield and protect us......won't they ? We've seen the sites that show the immediate plumes of radiation from the nuke leaks blowing directly at us, but where are the ex-spurts that should have realized that it would also go up in the evaporation process and come back down a "half a world away" right on top of our heads in the form of rain ? If it's NOW known to be in the drinking water in these few states, how much of it fell on my garden ? And yours ? And just one more thought, what if the Japaneese do completely lose control of this thing and it does go into a complete meltdown ? Where will we be then ? And what is America doing to help them control this thing ? They DID ask for our help. We don't have a real interest in this thing...or do we ? Now that IT'S IN OUR LUNCH BUCKET TOO ! There have always been those who have fought this nuke thing, and also those who approve of it. Are we learning anything yet ? Education IS a wonderful thing, but with a TOTAL lack of common sense, it is worthless. The instruction manual for this planet says; "pretending to be wise, they both fell in the ditch". *rant over, sorry* .........not

Thanks boys! I think my chills are gone this morning-Thank God-that was awful. I don't get sick like that. I can't remember the last time I had a temperature..... Anywho- I agree Rick with your rant-I thought this stuff wasn't supposed get beyond the Ohio Valley-even in a worse case scenario! It seems to be everywhere! I don't care that it's low on the rad meter-I notice that they aren't saying exactly what the reading is-I don't trust them to tell us the truth!
