I always liked making the tea by the gallon and then keeping a pitcher of it cold in the fridge, I remember some ruckus about it being bad for you, but I never believe something I hear over what I am experiencing. Now I got a hankering for some Sassafras Tea and I am going to have to dig some roots tomorrow. Hey, did you notice that I got to use the term "Hornswaggled" and "all balled up" in my stories this month. I used to use "hornswaggled" all the time, but because most people aren't familiar with it...they totally ignore it...at least in conversation...LOL As my Dad says...it doesn't "register" with them...LOL...yeah..I know! ;D ~Martin

if you used Sassafras poles for your chicken roosts, you would never have a problem with lice or mites. Now I have to try to find some sassafras poles. Wonder where to start with that.

I would check the woods, but that's just me.... ;D ;D hahahaha I would think the area around Lock Haven would have some, but the further southeast you go the more of them there are.

We went up to the mountain today to get the mail and check on things...the 'paper' was there. I haven't been able to take the time to read it yet, maybe tomorrow. I wanted to finish cleaning up the garden areas when we got back, it's supposed to rain tomorrow.

We can screw hardboard siding up during winter to minimize the cold and wind and take it down during the summer. So far the goats love it.
Soon we're going to build a goat milking station that will have similar construction.

I love Ann Coulter..... "So far, the only major accomplishment of the "Occupy Wall Street" protesters is that they have finally put an end to their previous initiative, "Occupy Our Mothers' Basements."'
LOL!!

Looks good Andy. I'm guessing you don't have a riding lawn mower though.

Looks good Andy. I'm guessing you don't have a riding lawn mower though. Nope, a riding mower wouldn't last. Eventually I want to get a compact tractor with a front bucket and a gannon for the rear, but that's gonna be a while. Once I get one I have some serious dirt to move.
